Archival Pieces Cotaco Creek pg 1
Item: FW339
Description: Beautiful "Snow-Capped Ear" Cotaco Creek - This Beautiful example was recovered from a rock shelter in Southern Simpson County, Kentucky.  It has great symmetry and form with one upward swooping ear and one "snow-capped" one! It is wide and made from a high grade Hornstone.  It is VERY thin and had Super flaking.  The tip, rather than rounded as most Cotaco Creeks,  is made similar to the "Donnaha" tip on Madison and Hamilton triangles as described by Bob Overstreet in Overstreet 11 and earlier.
