Description: Fantastic Harrodsburg Chert KY Dovetail - Here is one of the PRETTIEST examples of Fossilifferous chert you will see.  This Dovetail is made of Harrodsburg Chert and is a pleasure to study. (see photos).  It is Gray, Tan, and Brown in color with bits of other color throughout.  (see photos).  It was found by Dee Smith in the 1960's while building Highway US 27 through Pulaski County, Kentucky.  This piece has an ancient re-sharpening to one edge of the blade that has slightly thrown the symmetry off but in no way takes away from the piece.  The blade edges are finely serrated and the base is well ground.  It measures a BIG 4 inches in length.  Comes with a Tom Davis COA.  This piece is a G-8 at least in my opinion.  Ex- Tony Simpson.

Item: FA184  BEAUTIFUL FLAKING - Priced to move fast
Description: Douglas County Illinois Dovetail - Here is a VERY nice Dovetail that hails from Douglas County, IL.  This Dove is nice and wide with great symmetry and is of the "button base" variety.  It was found by Paul Brown near Camargo, in Douglas Co., IL.  It comes with two COA's; one from Maury Meadows and one from Ken Partain.  Both Meadows AND Partain call the material Coshocton Chert.  I may well be wrong, but MY opinion, is that the material is Definitely Sonora Chert.  This in a VERY nice, colorful piece that displays very well.  This nice piece is priced to sell.  Ex- Paul Brown, Ex- Dennis Arbeiter, Ex- Bill Jones.
