- Description: Outstanding Greenbrier or Dalton Nuckolls - Here is an Outstanding Dalton Nuckolls or Greenbrier. I tend to lean towards the 1st typology. It has a needle tip and excellent flaking. (see photos) It has perfect symmetry and shape. It has a well made, shouldered base that is ground and with an auriculate bottom. It is made of a very nice piece of highly patinated Fort Payne Chert. It was found just west of the Nashville area. This piece is pictured in the NEW Overstreet # 11 on page # 423. It is also pictured in "Ancient Indian Artifacts", by Jim Bennett on page 61.
