- Description: KY Wayne County Chert Paleo - Hinds - Here is a Beautiful piece of highly collectible Wayne County Chert. This Paleo is thin, has a needle tip and is ground on the base and about 3/8 th's inch up on the sides from the ears. I have not made up my mind whether this is a Beaver Lake or something else, but I believe it may be a Hinds, or Coldwater. Bob Overstreet says Hinds. It was found by Junior Burkhart in South Central Kentucky. Slated to be pictured in Overstreet # 11 due out in Fall of 2009. Ex- Jr. Burkhart, Ex- Sam Cox, Ex- Monty Pennington
