Description: Beautiful Sonora Chert Hopewell -  This Fantastic Hopewell blade is made of highly collectible Sonora Chert.  It has a nice tip and well made base.  It is thin and has nice flaking.  It has excellent symmetry and form.  This piece is from the collection of Mr. Chan Strader of Athens, KentuckyChan dug, surface hunted, and collected artifacts all around the Central Kentucky area.  Mr. Strader passed away over 20 years ago and left his collection to his cousin, Bobby Dodd, who donated the major portion to the University of Kentucky.  Bobby's wife gave away a case of pieces that he had kept to a family friend.  Only these few items of this collection remain available to collectors.  Ex- Bill Harper

Description: Huge Hornstone Hopewell Blade - We purchased this Huge Blade from a collector that had JUST gotten off the family of the finder.  It was found in 1971 where Nelson, Marion, and Larue Counties in Kentucky meet.

Description: Kentucky Hopewell found by Milt Williams - Here is a fine example of a Hopewell point that was found in Madison County, Kentucky by Milton Williams, author of "Ancient Man of Central Kentucky".  It is made from Cream and Tan Striped Fort Payne Chert of a variety that I like to call "Fort Dover".  It has f very fine tip and good symmetry.  I purchased this piece on 11/16/2005 from Bill Jones.  A Fine Woodland example of the type that has lots of color and displays well.  Ex- Milt Williams, Ex- Bill Jones, Ex- Monty Pennington

Description: Kentucky Blue Hornstone Hopewell - Here is a BIG Hopewell Blade made of Kentucky Blue Hornstone.  It is well made and well flaked.  The tail rounds up into very nice corner notches.  It was found in Madison County, Kentucky by Wayne Hoskins.  Ex-S. Denny

Description: Striped Hornstone Hopewell Hafted Scraper or knife -  Here is a beautiful piece of striped Hornstone.  It is a Hopewell Blade that has been re-sharpened across the tip from one side to form a well shaped Hafted Scraper.  Found in Fayette County, KY

Description: Boyle Chert Hopewell -  Just look at this BIG beautiful Hopewell made of an outstanding piece of colorful Boyle Chert.  It has VERY nice symmetry and shape.  It has a fantastic tip and is wide and thin with slightly barbed ears above a well shaped base.  It was found was found by Wayne Keene in Clark County, Kentucky near Winchester, KY.  This is a BIG beautiful piece made of a VERY colorful, Highly collectible material.  Comes with a Tom Davis COA grading it a G-8.  Ex- Monty Pennington
