Tom
Davis COA
"broken & glued"
Description: Fantastic Serrated Jacks Reef - Cain
Springs Chert. This super thin piece was found in Estill County,
Kentucky near Furnace Mountain by Neal Coryea.
I originally had this piece listed as a G-10
untill the keen eye of Gary Stroud of Kennesaw, GA picked up on the fact
that the base had been fractured and glued back. I had completely
missed it. Just goes to show how good our photos are! Thanks
Gary. It comes with a Tom Davis COA that will be edited and signed
by myself to indicate the fact that it HAS indeed been "broken and
glued" This little corner notch still displays well and is
pleasing to the eye. Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington

- Description: SUPER THIN Tennessee Jacks Reef - This Super Jacks Reef was found in Humphreys County, Tennessee, by William Stafford. It is very thin and well made and has very nice symmetry. Mr. William Stafford passed away in 1974 and the news print that this collection was wrapped in was dated in the early 1980's. I would grade this JR at least a G-9. - Description: Kentucky Blue Hornstone Jacks Reef Corner Notch/ Intrusive Mound- This fine Jack's Reef Corner Notch or Intrusive Mound was found in Jefferson County, Kentucky. It is made of Kentucky Blue Hornstone. It is rather thin and well made. Ex- W. Palmer, Ex- Monty Pennington
- Size: 1 3/4 x 1 1/8 inches - We have withdrawn this piece. I always check every piece again once it is sold before shipment and upon a 2nd look determined it to be a modernly re-constructed point from an authentic blade tip.

- Description: Small Paleo Shaped Point - I really don't know what this piece is. It has Paleo shape, but is not flaked like a Paleo piece. It is VERY thin and made of Hornstone with a touch of cortex material on one ear. It is nicely flaked. It may be a small type from the Late Woodland / Mississippian period, but I do not know what unless a Jacks Reef. It was found in Garrard County, Kentucky. Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington
