Description: Buffalo River Chert Uni-face "Duckbill" Scraper - Here is a GREAT uni-face scraper that I would place at late Paleo to Archaic.  It is made of Highly Collectible Buffalo River Chert.  It was found in Hardin County, TN.  It has Beautiful patterns in rust to green/gray (see photos).. It has Two major strikes to form the back with finer workings to form the scraper.  The other side is completely uni-face with a "bulb" near the back where the edges are lightly ground.  This is a VERY nice early tool made from a Highly collectible material.  If you like early tools, you will go a long way to fine a finer one.  Ex- Tom Davis, Ex- Monty Pennington

Item: FP133  ONE OF A KIND w/ graver
Description: One of a Kind Paleo Uni-face Knife / Multi-purpose Tool - I purchased this as part of a board of relics out of a Fayette County, Kentucky collection.  The frame was from the Prewitt Breeze collection and had been purchased by Prewitt around 1974 off the wall of Green's Filling Station on Harrodsburg Road in Lexington, where Ramsey's Diner now stands.  Green had an extensive collection, and this board had hung there for many years.  Some of the artifacts were purchased from farmers in the area who stopped in the station.  This is a GREAT Paleo uni-face multi-tool, complete with a " GRAVER " built in on one end.  For those who like Paleo uni-faces, this one has everything!

Size: 4 inches x about 1 1/2 inches.  Body is about an inch wide at the widest.
