Archival Pieces Pentagonal Knife pg 1
Item: FA436   *NEW*
Description: Beautiful Pentagonal Knife or Afton - Here is an Extremely nice Pentagonal Knife that was found in Boyle County, Kentucky.  I believe the material to be Tyrone (aka Crab Orchard ) Chert, but I am not 100% sure and it may be Cochocton.  It has absolute classic form and fantastic symmetry.  In lower states they call this form the Afton.  This is a very nice example of this mid-Archaic form.  Ex- Davis, Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington
