- Item: FP134 Kentucky Quad
- Description: Fort Payne Kentucky Quad - Here is a big wide Quad from Kentucky. It was found near the Montgomery County, Tennessee / Christian County, Kentucky line by Ronnie Daily. I believe it is made of highly patinated Fort Payne Chert. It has an ancient burin fracture to the tip that make the tip appear rounded. It has an ancient fire-pop to one side. This is a BIG WIDE Quad form that displays well. From our personal collection.

- Description: Cobden Banded Chert Quad - This is a big Broad Quad with Excellent Flaking. It has a well ground hafting area with a nice auriculate base. It has squared off ears and great symmetry. It was found in Southern Illinois. This fine Quad is made of banded Cobden Chert. Comes with a Tom Davis Certificate of Authenticity. Tom Graded this Quad a G-7, but it is a solid G-8 to my thinking. - Item: FP227 *NEW* Tom Davis COA - G-10
- Description: Fantastic THIN Tennessee Fort Payne Quad - Here is a Fantastic Quad that is made of highly patinated Fort Payne Chert. It was found in Tennessee. It has near perfect symmetry and shape. It is very thin and has excellent flaking. The hafting area is well ground and ends in nice flaring ears that are squared off and well shaped. - Description: Large Kentucky Paleo Quad - This Large Paleo was found in Jefferson County, Kentucky by Jimmy Osborne in the late 1950's or early 1960's. It is made of highly patinated Sonora Chert. This Paleo is a hefty piece, wide at the base and was probably a very large Paleo being reduced by re-sharpenings because of long use. It is a well made sturdy piece with excellent symmetry. - Description: Kentucky Hornstone Quad - This was some ancients favorite blade. It is sharpened down to the hafting area which is well ground. This Quad had wide sweeping ears that flare out nicely. It has great symmetry and shape and is very well flaked. It was found in Mercer County, Kentucky. It is made from High Grade Hornstone. Comes with a Tom Davis COA. From our personal collection

- Description: Clear Quartz Beaver Lake or Quad - I believe this piece to be either a Beaver Lake or a Quad based on where it was found over a Dalton form. Found in Far South Eastern Kentucky mountain region. It is made of clear Quartz and is HIGHLY TRANSLUCENT (see photos). The basil area is ground including the sides. VERY translucent! - Description: BIG KY Sonora Chert Quad- Here is a BIG BROAD Quad made of Highly Collectible Sonora Chert. It is BIG drooping squared off Auricles and a DEEP Auriculate Base. (see photos) This Fine Quad is very nicely Flaked and has good symmetry. It has a small ancient impact fracture to the tip that kept if from grading a G-10. This is a Large example of the Type. Comes with 3 COA's. One from Dwayne Rogers, one from Bill Jackson, and one from Tom Davis Grading it a G-9. This piece is pictured in the NEW Overstreet # 11 on page # 495. Description: Kentucky Boyle Chert Quad - Here is a Quad with Exceptional ears. It is nice and thin and made of colorful Boyle Chert. There is an ancient ding on one side and the tip has a burin fracture. One side back from the tip has been anciently made into a scraper of sorts. (see Photos) It was found by Joey Fairbanks on an extended ridge off the Licking River Basin in Bath County, Kentucky in 2005. A nice form and a reasonable price.

- Description: Kentucky Quad - G-8 - Here is a very nice Quad from Kentucky. It is made of gray Hornstone with bluish blotches. The base and sides are well ground. I purchased this piece from Tom Davis and it was graded a G-8 and comes with the COA. Don't let this nice Paleo get by you at a bargain.

- Description: Fantastic Kentucky G-10 Quad - This Beautiful Quad, I purchased from a collection in the Southeastern mountain region of KY. It is made of a well patinated local cobble chert. It has a Fantastic tip and great flaking with a deep concave base and wide squared off Auricles. The basal hafting area is nicely ground. I had this piece papered for a provenance. It comes with a Tom Davis COA, grading it a G-10. From our personal collection.

I am the 2nd person to own this piece besides the farmer who surface found it on his property. Nice flaring ears on both sides & nicely ground basil area. A true "investment" artifact. - Description: Perry County TN Quad - I bought this piece while in Hardin County, TN on a surface hunting trip. It was found my Michael Haines in Perry County, TN. I am not sure of the Chert, but is indigenous to that area .... pink and tan in patinated color. It has had, in my opinion, an ancient impact fracture to side back from the tip. Some ancient then worked this area into more of a scraper. It has nice flaring, squared off ears, and a well ground base & sides. It is a nice authentic Quad at a reasonable price.
