Description: Huge Dover Chert Ramey Knife or Snake Creek - Here is an excellent Dover Blade that measure over 7 inches in length.  It has beautiful flaking and a well made blade and tip.  It has well made weak side notches about 1/3 the way up from the base end.  It is made of beautifully patinated brown Dover Chert with a touch of cortex on the base.  The hafting area from the notches down is Well Ground.  This piece was found in Tennessee.  It was purchased from Tom Davis many years ago.  Comes with a Tom Davis COA grading it a G-10.  Ex- Tom Davis, Ex- R. Durham
