It was a personal find of Jason Broughton. It has great color and good symmetry. You will see that it still has some limestone deposits on it. (see photos). Description: TN Wheeler Excurvate: Here is a beautiful little Wheeler made of what I believe to be the Tennessee outcropping of Tyrone Chert, but it could be a Hornstone. It was found in Hardin County, TN. The last 1/4 inch of the ears and bottom are ground. This Wheeler has great symmetry and shape with a nice tip. It has a wide thinning strike or flute from the apex of the auriculate base 1/2 way up on one side and about 1/3 rd up the other side of the piece. (see photos). A very nice transitional Paleo piece from Hardin County, TN. Ex - Monty Pennington

Description: KY Wheeler Excurvate: Here is a beautiful little Wheeler made of Knox Chert. The last 1/8 inch and bottom of the longer ear is lightly ground. This Wheeler is very thin and translucent. It has a thinning strike or flute from the apex of the apex of the deep auriculate base 2/3 rds up the piece. (see photos). A very nice transitional Paleo piece from Estill County, KY.
