- Item: FA 117
- Description: Big Kentucky Cobbs Blade G-10 - Here is a Beautiful KY Cobbs Blade. Color is gray to darker gray. It was found by Dennis Tyler in Mercer County, Kentucky. It is great bevels and flaking and the base is well ground. I have shown this material to several people, several said they thought is was Sonora....... I think that it is Crab Orchard "Tyrone" Chert. I base this on the area of white "swirls" on that show up more on one side than the other. These are typical to Tyrone Chert, but of course.. I may be wrong. Tom thought it was probably Sonora at the time he papered it. Comes with a Tom Davis COA dated 1/5/2005 grading it a G-10. This is a flat out fantastic investment grade Cobbs Blade..... and one you would be proud to display.

This BIG Cobbs comes with a Davis COA dated October 1, 1999 grading it a G-10. A fine piece of chert that breaks the 6 inch barrier! Ex- Tom Davis, Ex-S. Denny, Ex- Monty Pennington
