Description: Big Adena - Here is a big nice Adena from Benton County, TN. Made of a cream to tan colored chert. It has nice length and symmetry and a serrated edge. This side very nicely flaked the other side having a large part of the cortex and very finely flaked around the edges. Has an ancient ding to the tip that has been worked back over. - Description: Boyle Chert Hopewell - Just look at this BIG beautiful Hopewell made of an outstanding piece of colorful Boyle Chert. It has VERY nice symmetry and shape. It has a fantastic tip and is wide and thin with slightly barbed ears above a well shaped base. It was found was found by Wayne Keene in Clark County, Kentucky near Winchester, KY. - Description: Beautiful Mottled Fort Payne Chert Adena - Here is a Beautiful Adena made of a mottled Fort Payne Chert. It has GREAT symmetry and color. - Description: Copena Cache - These three Copena's were found in Rockcastle County, Kentucky as a surface find in a washout in a tobacco patch. They were all found in a 3 foot area, so we are selling them together. The top and bottom ones are Hornstone and the middle one is Harrodsburg Chert or a variant Crinoid Quartz. All three are different material in origin. All three are KY type Copena's. Because they were found as a surface find, we cannot say for sure that they were a Cache, but it is likely they were once the property of one individual.

- Description: Kentucky Hopewell found by Milt Williams - Here is a fine example of a Hopewell point that was found in Madison County, Kentucky by Milton Williams, author of "Ancient Man of Central Kentucky". It is made from Cream and Tan Striped Fort Payne Chert of a variety that I like to call "Fort Dover". It has f very fine tip and good symmetry. I purchased this piece on 11/16/2005 from Bill Jones. - Description: Needle Tipped Bakers Creek - Here is a "classic" example of a Woodland period Bakers Creek. It is made of greenish red Breathitt Chert and was found in Central Kentucky. It has a CLASSIC Bakers Creek form and a needle tip... not to mention being large for the type! This vein of Breathitt is one of the ones that I like in tools & points. I traded for this piece at the 2006 Ripley Show from the finder. This point, in my opinion would grade high for the type! This piece is pictured in Overstreet # 10, page 342. From my collection.

- Description: Northeast Lanceolate Drill - Here is a VERY nice drill that was made from a Lanceolate type point or blade. This fine drill was found in New Jersey. It has GREAT symmetry and a very nice tip. It is made from a semi-glossy Black chert. The sides and slightly tapered and the base slightly convex. I do not find any grinding. It has a small bit of soft glue on one side that can be easily removed. Slated to be pictured in Overstreet # 11 due out in Fall of 2009. It comes with a Tom Davis COA grading it a G-10.
