- Description: HUGE Tennessee Hamilton or Madison Triangle - Here is a HUGE Tennessee Triangle that is made of Highly Collectible, Buffalo River Chert. It was found in Humphreys County, Tennessee, by William Stafford. This is an OUTSTANDING example. It has Perfect Symmetry. It has a nice tip and nice straight sides. It is well flaked and well shaped. Triangles that break two inches are rare. Triangles that break 2 1/2 inches are Very Rare. THIS one breaks 2 3/4 inches. Mr. William Stafford passed away in 1974 and the news print that this collection was wrapped in was dated in the early 1980's. Tom Davis graded this Triangle a G-9.
