Description: Very Nice Pedernales - This Nice Pedernales was found by Robert L. Stathem near Benton, Texas.  The Pedernales typology dates from Middle Archaic to Woodland periods, from 6,000 BP till 2,000 BP.  This piece is from the collection of John & Robert Stathem of Shreveport, Louisiana.  Robert and his father John hunted artifacts in Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Oklahoma.  Ex- Robert Stathem Collection, Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington
