Description: Blue Chert KY Big Sandy - This piece was sold to me years ago as Blue Carter Cave Chert and it may well be.  However, I now believe it may be a Sonora Variant because of the pitted material.  It is a well flaked Big Sandy that has a small ancient tip ding.  I think it was probably needle tipped and it snapped off.  It was found in Bourbon County, KY.  The base is concave and ground.  Ex- Monty Pennington
